OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF!

What woulda made that video better, is if someone ran off with the camera as he got to the end :p

This must be the same guy who did the beetle? I was beginning to wonder if he actually drove them, or just filmed them while breathing heavily :p ;)

how much are you looking at for putting something like that together?

DIY? £3-4k if you do everything yourself.

Paying someone else? £8-10k.

Nope - different guy :)

The chav wheels and carbon fibre completely ruin an otherwise monster of a car :(

They're not quite chav...

And the CF is completely appropriate for the car.

I don't like visible carbon fibre on anything... But that's easily the best use of it I've seen for years.

I like it with a coating of laquer so you can see the weave through it - like that Moggy has.

Never really been a fan of minors, but have to say that the workmanship on that looks stunning. VERY impressive.

Very nice. Out of interest how would that get insured, would it be a kit car?

No...Because it isn't ;)

You just ask your insurance company for a quote for a Minor with a V8 transplant.

Some may ask to see an engineer's report but they're easy to get.

Hmmmm....

[Huzeeee] has just aquired a Triumph Herald in full working order.

He also has a garage full of eight Rover V8's.

He also has a lot of spare steel.

He also has a very nice snap on tool chest or four.

Hmmmm...

Very nice I love the shape.
Carbon looks crap on cars but suits it here. Just a nice set of wheels and I would love to have something like that as a second car, something I could continously tinker with.

I hate it.

I just don't like older cars like that. How much would you be expect to pay for that exact car?

If it's only a couple of K I can understand it, but I guess it's more?

Would he get classic car rates, could be quite cheap :)

I dont like those wheels, totally ruins the rest of the look.

I know a few people that have removed the engines from their corrados and put in 1.8T and even 4 wheel drive R32 engine and runnin gear. They say that you need to speak to someone as you cant do it over the net properly.

They also said that it isnt classes as a normal modification, its something to do with the amount of work that has been done to it, and if anything goes wrong they assume you will fix it yourself. So your insurance doesnt rise as much as you would think.
