Wife went to work, so i thought i'd go out to play (sprog loves going out in the SJ) Only drive around some local moorland (bumpy parking areas) to show the kid the sheep etc...
BUT i "sort of" misjudged my speed as i turned off the tarmac onto the rough ground. 15-20mph, instead of 5mph. The yellow outlines pickout the discoloured grass from where i drove.
We bounced that hard/high, my feet were thrown off the pedals (no braking!
) and i managed to pull the wheel to the right instead of the left, meaning we avoided the flat ground and hit the following 8 - 10 dips until enough speed scrubbed off for me to get on the brakes again. It was like driving a rocket powered pogo stick.
Mini-me was in fits of laughter asking to do it again, nutter
Pretty sure i've bent my springs, can't get my hand in between the tyre and the arch on the drivers side. OOPS!
Not to worry, only a month till MOT!
And i can't get out to look at it until tomorrow as the sprog is in bed and the wife isn't back from work till 11.30!
