Well my friend you deserve to get sacked or get a mobility keyboard

No not company keyboards, my own.

Although today I put my firewalls PSU into the oven to dry it out, after the cat had knocked it into the waterbowl.

Unfortunately it's internal fuse had blown and the damage was a bit terminal.

It's now being powered by a hulking great Farnell laboratory PSU !!!

Ok I gotta ask. How much damage did the oven do? Did the laptop melt?

Thankfully she had the rare presence of mind to leave the over door open and only use the lowest heat, otherwise she'd have been cleaning a Gaudi-esque laptop off the bottom of her oven! But even so, whatever hadn't been totally fubar by the drink was definitely seen off by the oven...

WTF? HOW?

Pint of beer on my desk. PC on the floor with it's case open. Can't remember how I spilled the pint. Must have bumped into the desk or something.

Went all over the motherboard while the PC was switched on. The wierd thing is despite dieing, a week later it worked fine again (with a new gfx card).

Just go explain to your boss and apologise. They might even be nice about it and absorb the cost. You're not the first person in the world to spill coffee on company equipment

Or you could just torch the building and flee to Timbuktu.

just swap the old keyboard with someone you dont like when they aren't in the office
