Is that an Amiga thing? I used to play on an Amiga 500 eons ago at a friends house, I remember loads of games but I've never looked into the whole emulator thing...is it easy?

Can get emulators for pretty much any old console, including N64. Sega Megadrive ones are really stable though

OpenRCT2

A couple of competing projects, each attempting to to to Roller Coaster Tycoon what OpenTTD did to Transport Tycoon. Free RCT seems to be attempting to build everything from scratch, while OpenRCT2 is going what OpenTTD did and is essentially modifying the original game, rewriting all the code while using assets from the original game to begin with.

Neither are complete (Not by a long way) and neither are available for download complete yet (Source code is available to compile yourself) but OpenRCT2 seems more advanced so far.

If either of these makes it to finish I'll be very happy


In other news OpenTTD reached it's 10 year anniversary last month, and released their 1.4.0 version. Huzzah!

I managed to find Dune II, works via dos box in windows 7 64bit

This reminded me to load up and patch Battlezone 2, damn it's a good game, even now

OpenTTD is great, been playing it still on and off for years when bored.
