Total Biscuit did a WTF is for OpenRA. And while I usually enjoy his vids, and know how hard it is to talk about a game while you are playing it, watching him play RA is painful!

Got KeeperFX working as well, and am slowly playing through the original campaign. I can't believe it's been so long since I last played it, plus it looks like there's a load of custom campaigns included in the patch as well for even more replayability!

Never played the original Xcom, however there is an OpenXcom for those who want to give it a go. Can't give much info on how it plays though I'm afraid.

Isn't there a free DX9 Quake somewhere? Or does it require the original disk?

on floopy but other then that try a place called myabandonware I wont link incase it would upset the mod's here

you need the game but the mod is called darkplaces which can make it look almost as good as some modern games

Do you mean the original Dune point and click or Dune II RTS? If it's Dune II I think you might be disappointed due to the amount of extra clicking you have to do...remember that...click unit, click move button, click move...trying to move a line of tanks was a nightmare!

Does anyone know of any remakes/mods of Strife? It was a FPS/RPG hybrid built in the Doom engine.

I played the demo over and over and over when it first came out, absolutely fascinated in the different ways of playing.

Is that an Amiga thing? I used to play on an Amiga 500 eons ago at a friends house, I remember loads of games but I've never looked into the whole emulator thing...is it easy?
