Open Source PDF editor

i was just wondering if anyone knew of a good Open Source PDF editor?

I'm not sure if there are any due to Adobe patents At least I couldn't find anything when I looked a few weeks ago.

I have looked on a number of occassions to add it to the Useful Freeware Utilities thread, but have never found anything, so if anybody comes across one, please post it so I can add it to the thread for others to use....

Was having a look at this (Here) and it certainly lets you do a lot of things, but I don't think it lets you edit text in the actual PDF doc....

PDF-EXChange viewer will let you do some editing but found later versions than mine (Version 1.0.33) seem to have had it removed.
The replace text function doesn't seem to work but text can be changed by using a text box placed over the text to be changed and the border removed. Text can be inserted in typewriter mode.
Not really good for changing a lot of text but OK for a few changes.
