Red Alert was a cracking game. I downloaded it for iPhone a while ago but couldn't gel with the controls. Might have to put this high up on my list of procrastination methods

You can get another version which is closer to the original on CNCNet. I did try the OpenRA version a few years back, but did not like it at the time. Maybe I will try it again sometime.

It runs the original content , Or are you referring to the menu ?

OpenRA has changed a lot of the game balance.

Ai has from what I remember, that's not a bad thing as the original was stupidly easy to beat.
Not sure on what else has.

Hoping that generals will find it's way in tbh as that's the one I prefer .

It's on a different engine, with game balance changes and other differences. Don't presume to tell me it is the same as my favourite game ever.

All it has in common is the game type (rts) and the models used. At least the version I played a couple of years ago felt like that.

I don't really like playing OpenRA, I prefer vanilla RA. But I do love watching it, especially the Global League.

I just read something about it been in development. Just tried to compile it but OS X isn't supported yet.

Go into the options tab in the middle and there's a tech level dropdown, can select no superweapons in that.
