A full time degree takes three years; spend half as long studying and you're at six years.

Ha, 'full time'? There's nothing full time about 20 hours a week for 30 weeks (600 hours per year)!

Full time is ~37 hours a week for ~47 weeks = ~1739 hours per year.

I think an undergraduate degree could be done in a year full time (hard work) or 18 months at a more relaxed pace.

It'll be 4 - 6 years for me to do my degree, working 38 hours a week would mean I would probably only be able to do 1 or maybe 2 60 point courses per year.

if you did 2 60 point courses a year you'd be finished in 3

90 credits per year should be realistic tbh... which gives you a BSc or BA within 4 years

and as someone else posted - 'full time' uni isn't that demanding at undergrad level - 20 weeks holiday and probably less than 20 hours lectures per week - if you work a 40 hour week while at uni then you're likely doing more than a lot of students...

A few years ago I did the Level 2 undergrad 60-credit module T206. Honestly it took no more than four hours on a Sunday afternoon once a month for each of the six TMAs and a couple of Saturday mornings for the seminars. Got a distinction. I'm sure it varies a lot from course to course and what people's backgrounds are, but it doesn't always take a lot of time or work.
