Opened an empty space in my house, what the hell are these ?

One of my customers had a garage conversion done, and when they removed the roof. I think i saw about 6 nests

I've counted 9 of the small spherical nests, but there are none of the larger ones so it seems it's just what the builder says; queen hibernating. I saw a very large wasp a while back and let it out - in hindsight it was probably the queen and I should have killed it. :(

You normally don't get a nest in the same area as the golf ball sized winter home. Sometimes they do, but very rare.

This year we have had so many call outs for BEES! We couldn't figure out why, then realised. Due to little rain in our area, they cannot go underground. So have been going into houses.

I think we have only seen 3 wasp nests so far and about 40 bee's nests.

But the bees are really aggressive this year and the wasps are tiny.

We are not allowed to touch bees though :)

How come ?

FACT:

Camel spiders are in fact extremely poisonous and have been known to lay eggs in the ear canals of human beings while they sleep. The camel spider larvae then pulsate and grow inside the ear canal until the baby camel spiders mature, and spill forth from the eyes and nose of the infected carrier. Camel spiders that have made it back to more temperate climates (UK, Canada and USA) via luggage are often more aggressive and prone to attacking humans than their Middle Eastern counterparts. Disturbing a camel spider nest can lead to multiple attacks and poisonous bites.

Never knew this, but it makes sense, pollination n all that lark..?

Pretty much, there was a study done. And they said if every bee died, we would have like 4 years on the planet and die. I think it's **** **** that would happen. But i dunno, cant exactly test it.

I think mining bees and urmmm mortar bees can be treated.

You call in a special bee dude, and he sets a trap and they catch em. There called like an aperist or something like that.
