Anybody ever had to do this? Wondering what to expect.
Waited two weeks now 4 a purchased item that has not arrived or even been sent out. I have sent the sellers accounts department a mail stating I have waited long enough and have had to rebuy the item from elswhere. I want my money back. Their sales department do not know when they will have the item to send to me. Their accounts dep have chosen to ignore my request. I have tried to ring them only to be told they do not answer the phone and I should mail Lol. I have been in touch with the other ebayers who have attempted to purchase the same item from the same firm- and they have told me they have had to have their money back and they will never do business with these people again

I did it a few weeks ago - and won.

Ebay are crafty. I never had an email from them requesting various pieces of information (bank statements, emails from the seller etc) so make sure you don't forget to fill in the required form and send it to them (which you have to send via post to Germany, why you can't upload them I don't know).

I paid by paypal. Hope this helps?

I had a similar problem a few year back (for a new pc game)

I just opened a paypal dispute and they returned my cash without question a few days later :)

Not sure if they have changes since then though.

How do you fund paypal?

By credit card?

If so you can get a refund much quicker through your credit card company.

unfortunately it was taken straight out of my account 4 days after paypal initially paid the amount- grr

appeal through paypal, yeah he has 21 days to respond but unless he does, and has a good reason you will get your money back

I has this problem with golf clubs that never arrived, heard nothin for a week, finally raised complaint, heard nothing for 21days, got my money back, The guy must have realised he had lost his money and all of a sudden i get hit with emails from him saying what a disgrace i am etc,

He did have over 500 +ve 100% feedback but when i looked back most of it was for clothing, only the odd golf club

I just asked why he hadn't replied within the 21 days, where he had been all this time etc and never got a straight answer, he then left me -ve feedback which, ebay removed from my 100% account

some very bad scammers out there be careful

Had to open the dispute twice with Paypal previously, both of which I won. The seller has ten days to respond to the dispute otherwise you'll automatically win the dispute.

Paypal had to take £15 off each claim though because they have to transfer funds from sellers' bank account. If sellers have funds in their paypal account then there will be no charges and you'll get a full refund.
