Opensource game like Simcity?

Cool, I will try that. I got OpenTTD & it opens with a error saying "Can not open file sample.cat"

OpenTTD needs the original TT files to run. I think they are available on one of the community sites as it's a bit of a grey area over copyright from what I remember. Eventually all the original data will be replaced with user created stuff and thats when it'll be truly open.

Lincity is a good choice, you could try OpenCIty if you want something 3D but it's not very impressive just yet...

On the openttd websiote there's a link to the forum btw.
