Opera Suggestions

The GF wants to go see an opera and i'm gonna take her down on the weekend of the 22nd to see... something. does anybody have any suggestions? Stuff like Phantom of the Opera is fine too

I personally perfer Opera 8.5, anything after 9.0 was a disappointment.
