opera tab question

This is either going to be a stupid easy answer question or you just cant do it.

I have searched the net to see if its possible when you open a new tab from a link within a website that you can stop opera focusing on the new tab....looking for what happends in IE, the tab opens up but the focus is still on the page you was looking at

right click on it and select open in backgroud tab

Is there an option that automatically allows you to click on a link, and it opens in a tab in the background, rather than having to right click everything (anal I know, but just curious) (pun not intended).

I don't think you can, I've just checked the settings and can't see anything
