So I just got through the post my new 480GB solid state drive at the moment I have a 120GB with windows 7 and software installed which I am pushed for space and a 500gb partition from my 2TB HD for installation of games.

I am not sure what to do...
Dual boot Windows 10 on my 480GB with ubuntu on my 120GB SSD
or have a virtual machine for ubuntu and use my 120GB just for windows and the 480GB just for software and games what would you recommend Thank You.

I use a virtual machine for Linux. I used to use VMWare Workstation 10 but had loads of problems getting it working on Windows 10 and I didn't want to pay the price for upgrading to the newest version of I switched to VirtualBox which seems to run nicely.

Your plan for using the 120GB for Windows and the 480GB for games seems like a reasonable option. You can fit quite a lot of games in 480GB of space. I only have 256GB on my SSD for Windows and games and it seems to work out well. I have to occasionally uninstall some games to fit newer ones on but my internet is fast enough to allow me to download them without too much hassle.

I have used VMWare workstation 10 with my Pentest lab for a while now maybe i will try Virtualbox Thanks.
