I was wondering if i install a 32 bit version of windows 7 on my computer could i install a 64 bit at a different time

Yes, but
a) you wont be able to do an upgrade install, will have to be fresh
b) may i ask why?

thanks your response n i was just wondering because i have just finished my build and my copy of 64 windows 7 is a university and im at home and i only have a 32 bit copy here

Why could you not just use 32bit on your home PC, and 64bit on your uni PC?

It would be pretty pointless having a 32bit and 64bit on the same PC :s

i was meaning puttin 32 bit on my computer on now then removing it and installing wen i go bk to uni and this is all on the same computer

As long as you have the licensing you can install and uninstall which ever version of Windows you like

As Mr White said, as long as you have the licence you can install on any computer you wish.

As said, you will be fine but it will require a reinstall.
