How hot should drives run? I had to remove my lower chamber fan due to a bigger psu and now my drives are running warmer.

One is 45 C and the other 2 are 55 C

Thats with my case side off, I will put it on and see if the psu draws air over them.

Is 55 C too hot?

With my case side on they drop to 39, 50 and 49 that seems a bit better.

Anything over 40 will seriously shorten the life of your hard drive.
I freak if mine go over 39

You could help them out by setting spin down if idle (mine set to 10 mins)

Can i set an individual drive to spin down? I cant stand my os drive stopping.

Looks like I got it sorted, I managed to fit a 120mm fan inside the front door, only problem is it has no filter on it at the moment so its sucking dust in but my drive temps are now 32, 38 and 38 C thats with the door closed too so its probably not getting a lot of air in, unless I chop a grill into the door.
