No. Nazi Germany didn't have the manpower or equipment to invade the British Isles in 1941. They were largely tied up in North Africa and preparing to invade Russia (they had been preparing since mid 1940 and made definite plans by December).

It would been an extremely messy and extremely cackhanded attempt at an invasion with no significant guarantee of securing a stronghold eitherway.

Are you having a laugh, was you in Hilters war cabinet, did you know what was going on, please, you dont know what was going to happen, hence why I speculated. Makes you wonder why he invaded France, considering it was a joke of a country in terms of warfare and stopped at the coast.

They had 600,000 odd German soldiers lined up along their eastern border in February 1941 readying for the invasion.

It's a mathematical fact that they did not have the manpower or equipment (logistical particularly) to invade the UK. Operation Sealion was cancelled after it became obvious that they couldn't achieve air superiority over us, as that was one of the many areas required to enable a successful beach landing, let alone an invasion.

Having read a number of books, many by former Wehrmacht generals (Heinz Guderians is brilliant), I can safely say that I do have a fair idea of what was going on.
