Hope it is easier to move about in, OFP and Arma was just tedious.

BF3 = Arcade

OFP/Arma = Simluation

Bf2 you could jump in, Arma takes a while to setup and get going. ... like one game of it per night, compared to 20 or so Bf2 games

This one is getting made by codemasters not Bohemia.

Impressive, wasn't sure about this with it being Codemasters rather than Bohemia. But they seem do be doing a good job, ArmA let me down somewhat but was still a decent game. If this new can have the gameplay to match the graphics and attention to detail, and they can keep the bugs to a minimum then looks like we could have a proper worthy sequel.

Just watched it on the tube, that engine looks ridiculously good! Hopefully and by the sounds of the work the team is putting in the gameplay will match it too.

That does look like a worthy successor to OFP, and I can banish the nightmare of Arma to oblivion.

It's looking like my complete PC overhaul at the end of the year will be inevitable now.
