Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

I loved OF when it came out on the PC. I'm also a COD fan but find most of the maps too small on COD 4/WAW. Looking forward to this.
 
4 days! Can I just safely say, I will be buying this on the day of release and playing solid until saturday eve because of my best mates bday night out (grrr, I asked her to delay it but she wasn't overly impressed with that request)

Just a heads up, apparently this game is going to be hitting steam later this afternoon. Depending on the price and release date, I might have to cancel my DVD pre-order for this version.
 
the bit where he bursts in to chunks and watered down strawberry juice looked pants, the rest of it was good though, going to be a PC purchase for me after all though, being as the multiplayer is gimped (admittedly on both) and it's essentially just a 1 player game i'd rather get the accuracy of the mouse and kb and save £15-£20.
 
I can't wait for this now :D I did lol when he got gibbed looked rather out of place.

Will probs trade in ODST (+ some others) when this is out as I'm bored of that already :( And this will fill the void nicely until MW2 is out me thinks.
 
Just read the review and am quite pleased :) Roped a few more of my mates to get this and am eagerly awaiting co-op through the campaign. Zen, do you know if its possible to do half human and bald ai? It would seem like a massive error from Codemasters f you cold only do the co-op when at least 3 other friends are online.

The online mode where smaller squads have to infiltrate a base is aready sounding bad-ass :D

Really hoping I can get this through the post nice and early!

That reviewed seemed to mark it down for not being MW. Pretty typical IGN standards for a review then. Also, virtually every criticism was specific to the console versions. The tether system wasn't even brought up, which I found odd seeing as it's surely the main criticism to make, and there was no mention of the PC mission editor vs console lack of. Regardless of all that, 8.1 isn't bad but I bet the this is seriously challenged by the mil sim community for being COD fanboyism.
