i think its great, only had a quick play of the 1st mission. jumped straight in to hardcore without reading the manual and figured it out for myself :D

all the guys on my friends list are also enjoying it although they've had it a couple of days as they are in the US. CO-OP should be excellent from what they are saying, will check that out tomorrow.
 
I'm crap at it. Damn it I'm trying, but I'm on the 3rd mission trying to defend the beach. Failed 3 times so far. Only just worked out the machine gun has a bit of autoaim :p

Haven't played it yet, but if it's anything like the original OF. You should be taking a LONG time working out strat's, at least 30 mins then getting into it. Unless it's a heated mission?

Even then 10 mins of walking around out of enemy site to find the best position is the best thing to do.

Just one things worrying me with this game. I want to go pick it up tonight but im hearing a lot of negatives about it. Strange since it got mostly rave reviews.

i've been pondering since my last post and im gonna go down agian, i've txt the gf and said about it being a lot cheaper etc shes agreed to it so! all the better :D

don't know if i should phone them up and see if they are 100% doing this at 12am ...

Its the 3rd part of the overall mission. The beach gets attached from all sides. So far I have just wigged it and gone with the flow. Its taken me a long time but at least I've got this far :p

since when do paid reviewers give bad reviews? last bad review i saw was back in the OPM days (official playstation magazine), from what i can tell don't go at it expecting it to be CoD and you should have a fun time, atm it's the PC version that's gimped what with poor multiplayer support as well as what looks to be a simple console-pc port. while the consoles multiplay is cut down (4v4+12 bots per side) least it's reasonably well supported in comparison

best to just check they've got the stock in, i love it when the delivery doesn't turn up due to traffic and i get to have an easier night at work :D:D

i don't have a GF either, just need to make sure the finances are in order and my wallet gives me the go-ahead :p

As long as the 360 version is ok im happy!

Im more of a Battlefield player than COD but i appreciate these type of games anyway. If its got guns im there baby :)

lol that's cool mate, by the sounds of orbit meed to follow suit :D definately for Forza3!

By the looks of things the PS3 contingency on these forums seem totally unbotherd by the release of this game or are incredibly shy :p
