opinions - nails or screws?

Went to put up some cabinets in my bathroom, and i basically just stared at it and it stuck to the wall.

The problem is i've gotta keep it up, i went on holiday for 7 days and when i got back they slipped, eventually they came to their senses and moved back up to the proper height just as i came in with a sledgehammer.

using both methods works on the wife

Not all the time.

You can screw her, she can screw you.
You can nail her, she can't really nail you (unless that's your thing).
Both of you can be screwing on the kitchen table, but you can't really be nailing on the kitchen table.

I personally find carrying a small impact driver far easier than carrying a hammer around when doing diy.
But as others have said, rights tools for the right jobs. Unless i dot'n'dab, i always user plasterboard screws when boarding out.
I used nails on my roof tiles, and have an air nailer which is great for architraves.
I think sticks like poo with secret nailing is best for arcs and skirting.
Other than that i use screws. (one of our subsidiary companies was a joinery company which closed down.....so we helpd to 'relocate' a lot of the stock.)
