Opinions on new PC

Both please, thanks.

Some more more suggestions:

PSU: Thermaltake GF1 (review).

AIO: GAMMAX L240 (comes in white)? I think DeepCool have a pretty solid reputation, but I haven't seen any reviews. Lian Li also have the Galahad which I know is a decent cooler, but much more expensive than the CM AIO.

Air cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE was very well reviewed and comes in white (I think with or without RGB) and is less than £50. It will fit the case suggested (Lian Li 205M), but you do need to be more careful with large air coolers, in reference to the case and motherboard being able to accommodate them.

Thanks for the responses.

I have no idea about how to install an OS so will want one included. Yes, I know it is more expensive but I have no inclination or confidence to do it myself. Following a number of life changing events in recent years my confidence is really low, which is why I am looking at a prebuilt.
Therefore I would need to go for a cheaper GPU than the 6800 XT suggested by tammzy.

On the issue of enough space in the case for everything, is it worth considering a standard case rather than micro?

Perhaps go with the Powercolor 6700 XT Hellhound then, black shroud with clear plastic fans with LEDs, though OCUK don't sell it so you'd have to install it yourself. They may be able to source one for you, if you ask.

If OCUK are doing the build for you, then I wouldn't worry too much, if you spec something incompatible I'd expect them to tell you, or offer to swap it for something else when it doesn't fit. I'm sure they have plenty of kit on-hand for pre-builds. You can do basic checks yourself based on the case specs, e.g. graphics card length, cooler height and some cooler manufacturers include a compatibility list for motherboards and coolers and their website.

honestly, what is the likelihood of you upgrading your pc in say...5-6 years time? assuming you've kept your pc for 13 years...i'm going to say that you will, in all likelihood do the same and keep your new pc for quite a while
if the above is true, then i suspect that getting a 5600 + 6800xt would be a better option than getting a 7600 + 6700xt
(again, this is only true if there are no intentions to upgrade any component in the next 5-6 years)

the 5600 + 6800xt combo will give you a performance advantage right this moment as the 6800xt is faster than the 6700xt
with a 7600 + 6700xt combo, you will have less performance now owing to a weaker gpu right this moment, but it will give you better flexibility by being less of a cpu bottleneck down the line if you do decide to upgrade the gpu

see this vid...you will have to extrapolate some data ofc

Many thanks for all the info guys. It's been really useful and is much appreciated.

I will digest the information you've given and will also look at OCUK competitors as tammzy has suggested.
