opinions please?

Hi,

I have a crt TV in me room, its great although downside it does take room and is damn heavy but I get great picture. now my TV supports prog scan and has component connection on the back. Tv supports 480p and 576p so would it be good idea to buy xbox(not 360) hd cable of just stick with rgb scart?

I'd stick with RGB - I don't think you'll see much (if any) improvement with anything else.

I thought component would be best, due to prog scan etc

I've heard prog scan is pretty nice and if you're TV is capable you might as well go for it.

I still doubt you'll see any real improvement in a CRT.

Well when I connected my toshiba dvd play via compnent progressive scan looked better than scart ( thats with a decent scart cable)

I only wanted to know so It saves me buying a cable and then I dont need to use it.
