Opinions please.

I've got the P67 Extreme4 and have been more than happy.

Put everything in, updated the bios and booted first time with no issues.

Clocked straight away to 4.8Ghz but I dropped it back to 4.5 for everyday usage.

What sort of things did you want to know?

I haven't experienced any issues so far.

I think they're great value compared to the other boards.

Customer support is 1st class too. I contacted them about CrossfireX bridges as I thought I may need a longer one and they shipped me one free by within 3 days!

I have the Extreme4 Z68 - very pleased so far, although not really tinkered yet....after 2 or 3 days in PC

Nah, sounds like theres another delay,.and lets be honest a stock speed or 4.5+ghz sandybridge is going to be hard to beat, plus I'm tired of not having a pc (using my android currently).

Here's someone who's not happy with the Asrock:

Looks like they've got a second duff board.

It wasnt duff in the end

quote from his post

OK found the problem!

As mentioned I went around a friends house at the weekend to try and resolve the issue.

Turns out that the ASRock board has the 8pin power connector around the other way to the ASUS board that I had previously!

We found this out when my friend tried to plug his 8pin power connector into it; it would NOT fit. It actually took quite a bit of persuading to twist the cable around in his case the other way (as it was also installed the other way around for his ASUS board too).

Plugged it in and bingo.. Powered up fine!

My power supply on the other hand had a split 4/4 connector not a fixed 8pin; and I WAS able to connect it (I must admit one of the connectors was a little stiff) but it fitted.

If you know where this is located you will know you have to stuggle with the CPU cooler and the side of case to fit this in; and as I have the Noctura It was a bit like keyhole surgery; thus I had not spotted this.

Anyway board is now fitted fine and running ;-)

My other board (which I thought was broke) is still going back as it had a single duff cpu pin.

Thought I would let you guys know..

I would have thought there would have been some sort of standard of the location/orientation of these things; but clearly not! ; Not helped by the fact I could plug it in around the wrong way in the 1st place!
