Looks quite nice, snappie 600 but that's more than enough for everything these days! :) kinda like the idea of the rotating camera, had an old samsung phone YEARS ago that had it..

add Oppo's build quality + good price(i guess around/less than 400 sim free)

and you've got a nice alternative to note3/other phablets.

I presume that's a front-facing speaker which alternates with the camera? If so, brilliant! I hope more phones are going to come with them.

I'm mildly interested, but it's a shame it's not Android 4.3, a Snappie 800 and I've heard varying stories of Oppo's software quirks, so I'll wait and see how it settles. I'm not afraid to use CM10.x though if it all works. :)

It'll never be £400 sim-free. It'll probably come in around £600 and settle in at the low £500s.

Edit:
I think the new CyanogenMod, Inc are doing the software for it

Ooooh. :D That changes things some what!

It should be about £400 or less(buy from china not the UK) as they know the MI3 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is out soon.

you joking? it won't be 600 or 500.. 450 MAX.. :) $570 afaik and they sell the current find 5 etc for more in US

No LTE kind of makes the phone pointless, what with LTE being everywhere within the next year or so.

Shame as it's an interesting phone otherwise. Especially with the Cyanogen mod option.

I know the word innovative is thrown about every which way these days, but this really does have some really nice innovative features, like that invisible rear touchpad and being able to draw gestures even when the screen is turned off.

It's just a shame the thing is so damn huge. To me, phablet is still a pretty niche market, so at 5.9" it's definitely too big for me personally.

I don't get the whole "no lte no buy" thing tbh.. IMO three's speeds of 10+ mb is more than enough for anything on the go.. LTE is nice and all but skipping a device just because it has no overpriced LTE is just random.

same here.. too big for my liking ;)

that looks amazing, amazing amazing amazing

the 4g doesnt bother me actually, i will only get it where i work in the next 2 years anyway, and 3g on three is really already fast where 4g will be

i bet it doesnt have an nled :(
it is 2cm wider than my razzr maxx hd, that may be too much..yep, i dont think i could type with one hand on that

my find 5 does have a full rgb nled.. so does the other oppo phone that's on sale right now :) I think n1 will have it too.. can't see oppo removing it when its implemented in their android overlay so well..

I am considering this definitely, the camera and speaker idea is very good. I do think it may be tad big

not a small device by any means.. but if you're comfortable with note 2 you'll be ok with this.. :)

for me its too big, ROM community is not the best even on oppo find 5(important bit for me) but stock software is really good in my opinion but I've got that itch where I want to mod my phone so thats the only bit that makes me a bit uhm about future oppo's products..

Ive been following this one since its first rumours on twitter etc. I have a Note 2 at the moment, runing CM10.2 nightlies on it and love it, The note 3 looks even more feature laden and want it come business contract renewal time but the oppo n1 looks great at the face of it too, not sure just how fragile the camera hinge/ribbon would be though it is a fantastic idea.

well oppo said it can be moved from one side to another 100000 times before it fails?! so 120+ times/day for 2 years sounds quite good? :o if only it was 5" ;) ill wait for oppo 7..

Design reminds me of several old LG phones I had on the three network when 3G was first around for video calling.
