Optimizing My ram.. [RESOLVED]

Hi, im running my pc overclocked at 3.76ghz - overclocked quad. I just today installed my 2x2gb ocz native 1000mhz memory, ive installed it in dimm1 and dimm3 for dual channel.

Anyway i have 3 questions:

1) How far can i overclock the speed of my memory? 1066mhz,1100mhz,1200mhz?

2) I have the memory timings set at 5-5-5-18-1T, is there a faster cycle i can set for any of these?

3) The max volt is reccomended at 2.1v, would setting that higher allow for a better overclock and if so, whats a safe voltage to up it?

Cheers:cool:

From my experience with the OCZ PC2-8000 it didn't go much over 1040mhz, tho I got it when it first came out and things may have changed.

If you're running it at 1000mhz then I can't see you being able to tighten the timings, tho the TRAS may go down to 15.

IIRC OCZ warranty the memory up to 2.2v.

my overclock mustnt be stable enough as its a bit fussy dropping the 18 to 15.

ive set CR to 2T, as soon as this overclock is stable i will dropping it back to 15.

A quick question you might be able to help with, this ram is reccomended to run at 5-5-5-18, how come i have seen people run theres at 4-4-4-12?

I could never run mine at CAS 4, even at 800mhz.

I've never seen anybody run it at 4-4-4-12 at anywhere near 1000mhz.
