opty 170 or X2 4400 ??

most will do 2.6ghz with out worrying about steping but if u want 2.8ghz u want to look at steping like i did , mine cost be 170 on the bay back in september , hoping it will tie me over till thease nice DDR3 c2d chipsets are out in late 2007

Do the 4400's come with unlocked multipliers?

no, all cpu's bar the fx range are locked up.
