Orange- Anyone else not getting any reception?

Hi there,

I've had no reception for about an hour and a half now. I tried turning the phone off and on but nothing works. What gives?

They've cut you off because you haven't paid your bill.

Alternatively there is a problem with the cell that you're in.

What doesn't make sense. Either:
1. You haven't given them money this month. When you fail to do this they get angry and cut off your service; or
2. The cell that you're in has a problem. The mobile network is made up of hundreds of thousands of cells which are a bit like wifi routers all connected up to each other. If the one you would normally connect to is broken then you're not going to get a signal.

Ahhhhhhhhh ok, well I called up orange and they had a pre-recorded message about some kind of problem. So I guess I'll wait.

Mine is down now, I'm in oxford btw, has been down for a good few hours.

I had a lot of problems in Oxford yesterday as well, soon as I drove home it was fine.
