So....I've got pretty much annoyed with my orange contract as my useage has changed over the past 6months and I've been calling a lot more and also texting over my limits! I was on a Student 120 talk plan and I basically got 120anytime minutes and 1000 texts for £25! What really annoyed me however was the fact that the Dolphin plan was coming in at £30 (online price) and now offers 600anytime minutes and also Unlimited texts. This change would see me saving at least £20 a month on how my usage is currently!
So I decided I'd give them a quick call and see what I could do about it and they actually were pretty helpful and changed it no problem however they were looking to charge me the £35 in store price but I quickly reminded them I seen it online for £30 a month and they were happy to honour that! Bonus thing however is the fact it's basically a change on my current contract and I didnt have to enter any new term or anything so my next upgrade or contract review will be in January next year. This goes into effect on my next bill date on May 8th!
This should hopefully in turn save me a good chunk of cash per month which is a relief and I was surprised at how easily I could sort it out through best plan! So considering I couldnt get out the contract for a while I think this has provided me a nice change at a very welcome time in my contract. I definately wouldnt hesitate calling them if you feel your gonna be stuck on a talk plan you dont want, especially if there is something better they can offer you!
