Orange (EE) intermittent connectivity

So after four days of calling Orange to sort out my connection and only being put through to 'technical support' in India because I was trying to download a particular file (I tried 55 times in all) to be told to try it on someone else's system, so I did it downloaded first time uninterrupted! Called them back today got put through to 'tier 2 technical support' in UK who did full diagnostics to find a fault on my line from BT and the robot controller had slowed down my speed to maintain a better connection!

They told me to change the ADSL filter and they would monitor for next 24 hours! And I can't cancel my contract until they've had 30 days to resolve it!

Absolutely fuming! :mad:

I don't see why any one starts talking about cancelling contract over faults.
Thing is if its a line fault you will only end up having the same issue with new provider any way.

But its nice to see that you have an engineer coming out.
Should all be sorted by the time he leaves.
