I have an 18 month contract with Orange for my C905 phone, I recently changed from O2 to Orange, but oh my god I have such a crap signal everywhere in my house I have to be outside/leaning out the window to get a signal (if im lucky!) I went out to a restaurant, again no signal, went to my sisters house, again no signal! I had no problems on my O2 network.

This is really unacceptable, I have this for 18 months!!?

Is there anything i can do? :(

I moved from o2 to orange a few years ago, then back to o2. I don't know how anyone can use orange, the reception is rubbish everywhere..

Did you buy online? if you did you should have a 14day period you can cancel and return everything.

Well how far are you into your contract??..if your still within their time frame for returns...id be returning it back...if not then ring them up and see if they can fix the problem.

Never had a problem at all, quality is fine and the Internet service on my phone works perfectly. At the moment I get 750min, unlimited internet and unlimited texts for £17.50 a month, if I was to switch to O2 I'd have to spend double that so I can put up with a couple of garbled calls for that saving.

That's quite a nice package. I might have to mentio that later this month when my upgrade is due.
I've been with them 20 months
Have home broadband with them at £10.00 a month
Never missed a payment

I think they should budge ;)

It's taken you over four months to figure out that the signal is rubbish? You're well out of your cooling off period by now.

1. The phone may be faulty. Try to figure out if this is the case and get it repaired if you sincerely believe it is.

2. See if there's a firmware update available- you'd be suprised how much a firmware upgrade can improve the radio in a device if the original was rubbish.

3. Grab one of those signal booster things off of an auction site- from personal experience I can say these work to a reasonable degree.

Next time you get a new phone on contract, decide if the operator is good enough for you in the two weeks they give you you cancel ;) I did this with orange and was back on o2 within a week.

Good luck. :D
