Obtained an iPhone 4 and will need a micro-sim for it when it arrives, now I have an existing contract with Orange and understand I can just cut down my existing sim but would rather just get a proper one. Will they send me one if I Phone 150 or do they charge?

Just wondering before I call tomorrow so I can go in prearmed :)

Hi Windle

If your previous phone was an iPhone and you are on one of our iPhone packages, our Customer Service Helpdesk should be able to send you a new micro-SIM at no charge.

If you are not currently on one of our iPhone plans, we would still be able to provide a micro-SIM at no charge, but you would also be required to purchase an additional iPhone wi-fi and data bundle costing £10.00 each month.

I hope this helps.

What a complete and utter rip off. You buy an iPhone sim free and then you are forcing the customer to pay £10 per month for something they may not ever want, wi-fi can be used for free at home and data can be turned off so how the hell are Orange justifying this.

Just cut it down...or get one of these cheapo sim cutter...no need to get Orange to give you so that they can charge u extra lol.
