Just got my livebox working. Now...they said i could get free phone calls by plugging in a phone to my live box. How does this work? Under my settings (19.2168.1.1) it says no phone number assigned or something...

You'll need to wait for the talk side of your account to be activated, give it a few days and it usually does it automatically, if not call tech and and they should be able to activate it for you, they'll need your livebox serial number and MAC address to to it

i've had an orange account for ages, had the live box for about a month only just got round to setting it up. Guess i should call them up.

What sort of phone can i get to plug into it?

I'm waiting for my livebox to arrive.

I am under the impression that any normal phone would be ok to use - is that correct?
