order to set up computer

hey i finially got round to buying all the bit for my new build and cnt wait to get it working, just have to pick up the final parts from the depot tomorrow as they went to the wrong house hehe but just wondering in *** order should i do everything i basically am starting from scratch, i know how to put it all to gether, just whether to do biso first, then windows then order of the drivers etc etc so if any one could write a list of bullet points which would take everything nto consideraton please would be greatful.

am also getting an aftermarket HSF (120 extreme) and will get some sand paper for lapping it and the cpu, but wondering should i just leave the cpu as it is first and install the stock HSF and make sure everything is working properly before i grind away?
also if i use my artic silver 5 on the stock fan will i need to clean it off properly when i put the 120extreme, or can i just simply wipe it off a bit and then just re apply it? also for cleaning it would industrial meths and a cotton swab be ok? thanks

You're getting a bit ahead of yourself there. As you already got the other cooler there is no point using the stock cooler first, you're just making work for yourself. As for lapping ......... I'd save that one for a very rainy day. How do you know it will need it? If you did it now you wouldn't know of any benefits anyway.
