I seriously can't wait, after coming from a Canon Digital Rebel XTI (400D?). I'll be using a Canon EOS 70D DSLR Camera with flip out display, level meter display, better noise to ISO and more! :D

Decided to spend the extra

I made the exact same upgrade a few months ago. I took me a while to learn my way around all the button and menus as I'd been using the 400D for about 8 years. My only gripe with the 70D is that the buttons have a bit of a soft spongy feel. I'd read about it online before I upgraded and I had a play with one in store before I bought it. The spec and feature upgrades more than make up for it. Enjoy!

Nice one all :)

Shame the supplier decided to phone me up, tried to sell me more stuff, then put the phone down on me when I said I couldn't afford to buy more

I'd be tempted to call them back, ask for a discount on the order then hang up when the answer is no.

Have fun with it though. I'm trying to decide what to do with my ageing 40D.

I've set the ball in motion on Twitter, I find that to be a rather valuable persuasion tool :D

Emailed too with my disgust!

Hopefully it arrives, really excited :)

( Also ordered elsewhere - Camera bag/tripod extension holder / low weight tripod )

I have the E-M10, exactly for the reasons you want it. The only place i've struggled with it really is with fast moving subjects. It's got a fantastic mode on it though for long exposure, it has live view and you can take multiple exposures as one image and watch it build, great for star trails etc.

Even more sold on a camera I was already sold on. Bit bummed I missed the £75 cashback deal but oh well, will get it in the coming weeks :)

I've just ordered a gorillapod action tripod too which i can use for my Oly and my Hero 4 black on NYE in Sydney :D

I've never had a camera backpack, and I've always had a heavy bulky Tripod constantly in one hand. Not any more :D , I believe this one is only 370g too

My item is in the UK now (Customs status updated EAST MIDLANDS - UK) , however it seems to have come from the states ( even though it's a UK company )

But I did phone them up and question this on the DHL tracking site, Description: STABLIZIER FOR DSLR CAMERA - Total Weight: 4.0 lb . However I was assured on the phone I was getting a Canon 70D and not to worry, so we shall see

Neil,

I have confirmed with the Shipping Dept that the box does contain your camera. We have the serial number scanned on file here. If you need anything at all I will be your liaison in the future. Please contact me once you get the camera Thursday or Friday.

Phew

The reason it stated that on DHL was because it would fall into a lower import tax band. You have in other words got a grey import.
