What did you get? (and Damn! Apple don't usually take money out till it is leaves for delivery - at least in my experience)

You won't need to be a stealth-ninja to use the Uni computers.

Go in and ask about using their Resource Centre (to look for graduate jobs). BINGO.

In my last year of uni I am going to fill my quota of apple hardware I can buy, that means I'll be set up for the next couple of years with some cheap and uptodate stuff.

This is my plan exactly! I'm going to do the same with all the software I need as well. Here comes the Adobe Mastersuite + Lightroom for just over £500 rather than £2500

Add on to that Logic 8 Pro and anything else I can wang on my credit card lol.
