delivery note inside says 1x Pixel 4 1x google nest.. but no phone ... contact vodafone, yes sir i can see your pixel 4 was delived and signed for today.... NOOO it wasnt it was a stupid nest ffs vodafone morons

I signed upto a 2 yr contract with Voda for about £48 a month inc a iPhone 7 (128gb) (3.5 years ago when they were new)

They sent me the phone and put me on a sim-only plan... £15 a month for 12 months.. Never heard anything more about it :D

Cheers voda

Gotta love vodafone, i ordered 22 iphone xs's and 8 galaxy s10's and they sent 40 phones rather than 30 an extra 8 xs's and 2 s10's. I rang them several times to let them know but in the end i took me threatening that they will dissapear unless they do something about it.

They did but when they came to pick them up they only wanted to pick up 8 handsets. I now have 2 s10s still sitting in my comms room.

Was whole thing sealed ?, If I'm not mistaken the 'picker' will usually scan the barcodes on the phone's box and anything else included for confirmation. Maybe this could be an avenue for you to go down if they contest it.

On a side note, years back I tried to order a Note 4 online from Vodafone but at the checkout the website constantly came up with an error so I gave up in the end.

A month later 2 Galaxy Note 4s were delivered, Vodafone knew nothing about it and had no trace of the IMEIs. Sent them back in end, someone in the return warehouse probably stuck them on eBay .

Vodafone are brilliant

Ordered a Pixel 3 XL when they first launched with a free Home hub. Thought better of it, and decided to cancel, which they did.

Week later phone and hub turned up :p

I did contact them to explain everything, but they weren't a a bit bothered (dont think they really understood what I was saying). They just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. Yes sir, your order has been fully cancelled lol

There is a bug in the system I think. If you pre-order a phone, and then cancel it just before you know when it's likely to ship. The system cancels the order, yet the parcel is already on it's way through to you. They have no record as they cancel everything.

well they now filled out an escalation form, and i have to wait 3-5 for them to sort out a phone i never had. The Red Envelope that holds the SIM was in the package , but no SIM in it. think DPD drivers using it as we speak

so we its now 3 weeks later, no phone, vodafone cant find it claim they are investigating, and they have tried to charge for the upgrade on my latest bill. I have cancelled the direct debit. so they cant take any more money until they resolve that. Is there anything i can do. arent they breaking some kind of distance selling law. they also ignored when i told them to cancel under the 14 day calling off period and wont do anything until they find the handset they lost. the google nest they sent that i didnt ask for was also never signed for. so they have no proof of delivery

I hate Vodafone, was on them for a a month I soon switched

3 are just as bad, bad customer service and signal

I did it for the cheap contract 2 years ago this coming november - managed to get an XS with 80GB of data for £37 a month and no upfront.

Won't be staying though - data is so slow that I never even get close to 10GB, let alone 80!

has the sim and phone been activated ?

they said phone hadnt been used. and i didnt need the sim as would be using my existing one... but still, i didnt sign for it and they didnt deliver it, so how come im the dealing with the crap.

you need to take this further.

You need to get through to the guys in Scotland but I dont know if that is just their corporate call center but they are good. I have my own girl I deal with over there for both my personal and business who sorts everything out for me. Geraldine she is an absolute star at sorting this sort of stuff. I think if you call up on a week day after about 10am you stand a decent chance of reaching the guys in scotland.

Also happy to ask geraldine if she doesnt mind helping you if you send me a pm.

Thanks Vince, that might be a good idea, let me give them the weekend if i havnt heard anything on monday will pm u. I have been speaking to people in Ireland (i think) who work 12pm to 8pm, who are very helpfull, just when i thought i was getting somewhere, he transfered the call back to the idiot in india. and round i go again. Im not paying their bill, and if they damage my credit rating i will think of legal options, i must be able to take them to small claims court. luckily i managed to transfer the broadband rapidly as they have no control oveer that. but they refuse to give me a PAC code, and say if they do give me it without waiting for resolution they will charge £700 for ending a contract early which i never ####ing entered

Let me know dude. I am sure if she wont speak to you directly that at the very least she will find us somebody who will sort it for you.

Still heard nothing and as from tommorrow its been a month since i ordered the Pixel , which means Vodafone are now in breach of UK Distance Selling Law by not providing the good ordered within 30 days

I'm sorry you have had such a runaround but this thread has been a great read over the last few weeks, such ineptitude! Have Vodafone actually accepted that the phone is now missing or do they still think you have it and are trying to pull a fast one?
