What the hell are you on about? Plenty of people keep GPU's for longer than 2 years. Besides, if you did want to upgrade after 2 years your card would have 1 year remaining on the warranty increasing its resale value. It's a win win situation![]()
Sale of goods act states a product must last a reasonable amount of time. For a GPU this would be around 5 years approx.
I was mearly stating that a 2 or 3 year claimed warranty is of no real difference as they all have to comply with the sale of goods act which would expect it to last longer anyway. This is why all products come with the lines "Your statutory rights are not affected". Your basic rights in most cases entitle you to longer than most claimed warranty periods.
