Ok well i need to order today heh, and well im so lost in the options i have now im getting confused. After taking the advice from members here im down to 4 options left now. I really have tweaked these to my liking and met the amount i have, as explained before i do Have! too spend this much due to a previous order which was complicated. the amount is £700. I need to know which is going to perform better, i know bang for buck some are better in those ways but im looking too which will perform best. Sorry for yet another post i didn't see the point in reviving a dead post. If you made comments before please don't think i didn't take them into consideration i spent hours looking at what i can do and this is my options, im really keen on the antec case for sure and the HD5850 although i know people have said its a bit pricey but thats not too much of a problem to me. Just want to know what will perform best.

A few typical scenario too how i use my pc (hopefully this will help on the desicions)

1. Playing Aion (DX10 game) and using Ventrilo, while listening to music or watching something online.

2. Playing Aion and CSS at the same time, while being on vent or music.

3. Browsing net, watching videos and using sony vegas, perhaps a game open also.

4. (Future) Playing DX11 games, and possibly getting a second card to crossfire later on.

Hope they help :D

OC my current Q6600 and get this lot:

Id go with the i3, imo its not worth spending £100 on a mobo which wont be upgradable, and whilst the AMD system is nicer it sacrifices gfx which is your main requirement for gaming

I would also suggest going down the i3 route. As you are getting an better CPU cooler you could get an OEM CPU and save yourself a few quid.

thanks guys for your opinions, so the AMD is better than the i3 but because of GFX you recommend the i3 route? hmm... back to the basket ideas but keep those opinions coming guys :) looks like option 1 is a no go.

I forgot to add in the OP that i will look into overclocking also.

any other opinions :)?

I would get two of the following HD5770 1GB cards:

VTX is part of the same company as Powercolor.

A pair of HD5770 1GB is usually faster than an HD5850 1GB and in this case cheaper:

Get an Antec 300 case instead of the Antec 902:

Also you will need to spend £130+ on OcUK to get a socket 1156 motherboard capable of symmetrical Crossfire at PCI-E 2.0 8X/8X.

I would read this article:

http://www.hardware-revolution.com/p55-motherboards-crossfire-sli-performance-problem/

I would also get this CPU cooler too:

If you drop the keyboard and cable the total should be around £715. However a G11 for £26 is a very good price!

The total comes to around £703 excluding postage.

This would be the cheapest option if you make some major changes.

I would go with the cheapest DDR2 P43 or P45 based motherboard which would do the job and forget about Crossfire:

I would get 4GB of PC2-8500 DDR2:
