thanks for that list Kiyzoo, i should have said that i already have my hard drives and other peripherals, plus id rather go for a gigabyte board as im not so clued up on foxconn, umm yeah the GTX 480 seams a great card apart from the heating and noise issues?

but is it worth waiting for the new sandbridges or to go for a different CPU?

Yeah but the issue with the recalling due to chipset issue? that would still be the case with any mobo with an intel chipset for sandy right?

think i mite go for the GTX480 to be on the safe side

Hmm just read the section about the chipset issue, think its best to wait untill the new boards come out.. agree?

for the sake of a month or so's wait, ide be inclined just to sit on my hands till then.

nuts to building a pc, getting to use it for a bit just to have to tear it down again & swap a duff mobo, which you didn't need to use in the first place if you'd just had a bit more patience.

okays, i shall wait a few more weeks.. will give me a chance to get a deffo for a graphics card :) btw will these new boards just be a revised chipset? or a completely new one
