Ori and The Will of The Wisps

I'm slightly annoyed its been delayed by a month but if it makes the game better then I can forgive them. I'm probably going to get that sweet Collector's Edition on Xbox One but I wish they'd do a controller or something to go with it, the art is just so nice.

As I said in the XBGP thread it's a fantastic game so far. The presentation is superb and the little scenes really pull at the heart strings.

Similar to the last game but that's not a bad thing - I've played about a hour or so and I'd recommend it based on that.

Well the last Ori I completed 2 days ago and died 1400 times. I hear this one is a bit more forgiving and the auto save and familiarity of the game might mean I die less than 1000 times. Although I can't see a death counter in this new game.

Performance was so bad on my 3900x/2080Ti that I ended up playing the Xbox one X version which worked flawlessly.

Was the 8GB patch for the steam version? Gamepass version didn't have one when I checked last night.

I'm the worst gamer throughout the whole of time and space.

Ori wasn't hard, even for me. Were you playing with your elbows or something? :p
Slapped it on easy mode. I’m a wuss. Getting Hollow Knight vibes from this game.
For shame. You sure you wouldn't like me to play it for you? :p

This game is so amazing, the level design and the gfx is just stunning. It kinda feels slightly different from the first game, but not in a bad way. Having a blast. 4 hours into it right now. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I don't know why I died so much. Probably the X Box Controller as I have played M&K since 1997. I don't play with controllers since 1999 and the Dreamcast. This is my weak excuse.

On the bright side I have played the new one for 3-4 hours and have not died more than 10 times so far.

The first Ori was probably one of my favourite games of all time, have 100% completed it on PC, Xbox and Switch. Yes, sad I know.

Will of the Wisps took a little while to get going for me, but it's just absolutely outstanding and I can't put it down.
