Origin Access

^Same one I did, but cancelled it after some Ruskie trying to make a £3 purchase to test if he could. Has me so worried.

EA account details were breached years ago apparently.

I had the same happen to me when a friend on teamspeak asked me why I was ignoring him on Battlefield 4 and why was I playing on a laggy russian server.

He didn't change my password but had added a free game to the account. I managed to log in and change my password and set 2 step authentication. Apparently EA support is pretty good though if you need further help recovering your account.

Had my security question in russian and everything, but quick chat to the guys at EA and it was sorted, one big thing.. TWO STEP AUTHENTICATION.

The £20 a year is a no brainer IMO, I just cancelled it and went full secure lock down mode because of what happened. but with 2FA you should be fine. Plus the free games are great and free upgrades to Deluxe Editions of any game.

Recently noticed this and at £20 a year it seems a no brainer. Lot of singleplayer games to catch up on and I'm not even counting all the multiplayer stuff.

Didn't know about the deluxe upgrades, that's a nice touch.

Shame they don't give you the DLC as well. If one was to play Mass Effect, you'd still need to buy all the bits and bobs that go with it.

An addendum to this post of mine - you can now buy "DLC bundles" for games like Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. The bundles contain all the DLC for each of the games for about £20. They've repackaged everything like this to do away with Bioware points. FINALLY! Now just have to wait for them to go on sale or to become included with Origin Access...

Seems EA are tossing games out for now. May as well enjoy these new games while they last.

Now added:

Mad Max
Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition
Prison Architect
Torment: Tides of Numenera
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Virginia
Ember
Spore

Now for the small price of £20, it really looks good value. More so if you haven't already got or played these. Sadly mine ran out last week but I'll be back with it as soon as I can afford.
