How could he have changed my email without the password? Is it really that easy? I only have Battlefield 3 on the account, but still a bit miffed. How can I get onto EA support now that I can't log into my account?

Has this happened to anyone else recently?

why do they send the verifying email to the new address ? they should send it to the old one first so someone without access to your email can not update it

Man shootersam, that sucks, my origins account is fine, but if the details on the account are still the same e.g. D.O.B, Name, Surname, Address. Then you should be able to get your account back. However, i had to change my email address and they ask you all those details so......likely story is they ahve now changed all the details and your email is hacked, change your passwords and email. Same happened to my email address and they went for my apple account, also managed to get into my paypal account and "Attempted" to book a £2000 holiday on it.

Change your email ASAP and all your passwords

secret question by sounds?

My secret question is just a bunch of random letters and numbers I have memorized. Managed to get my password changed, so hopefully they don't get into it again. Pesky Russians.

Edit: Any idea how to change my security question without going to EA support and waiting an hour? It's something Russian, and my Russian isn't what it used to be. :p
