Origin - any way to stop pop-up ads ?

i was just about to make a thread about this i'm sick to death of getting ads for games i already own and they is no way of turning them off.

trying to get me to pay for weapon unlocks in bf that i already have !
 
I've been thinking the same thing lately. A quick browse through the Ea forums brings up a thread where and EA guy says they're working on it, but I'll not hold my breath...
