Why does this have to surface the day before I'm going to install Vista 64-bit :(

A tanya around the back of someones base to knock out power stations and as much as possible never went a miss either.

Kreeeeeeeee, what version of RA do you use for multiplayer? Id be interested to see if we get LAN working with Hamachi and have us all some 8 player redalert ocuk games :)
 
Getting redalert 1 to work over lan is doing my head in now

Ive downloaded MiniRA Plus 1.2 from http://browse.files.filefront.com/MiniRA/;1873803;/browsefiles.html

Installed and then added the IPX protocol, on mine ive set it to 802.2 with internal and external settings on 00000001. On my mates ive done the same but changed the network number to 10000000.

I launch the game and he cant see the game ive made in the lobby. Any clues? I had it working a while ago

thanks, thats probably it. However ive just been playing a skirmish and the game just randomly froze. It said not responding in process list.

I tried it again and it did the same thing, anyone else getting this?

Even when you get it working in XP it's still a bit flaky, when I got it working a year or two back I kept getting "Out of Sync" errors.

Sometimes I could get through a whole game though.

I can remember the out of sync error. Me and my mate had a modem game years ago and we had been playing for over an hour and had loads of stuff. Just getting ready for an all out war and a message the sync error popped up!

We both neally smashed out computers to bits because we had been using the phone line for quite a while and the bill would be quite big aswell
 
WOW. MDK works fine in XP!

brutal sports football works great in dosbox

edit - amazing, zool and risky woods!
