They say pain and pleasure are very close. I disagree. Pain hurts, pleasure is nice.
Mrsyoustolemyname came back from the supermarket with some new showergel yesterday. Apparently it was on 2 for 1 offer, bargain!
Two little innocent bottles were sat on our toiletry shelf this morning. Original source lime showergel and original source mint shower gel. The mint one said something along the lines of 'it wakes you up'. Feeling a little groggy on a monday morning, I went for the mint one. What a mistake.
So there I was happily lathering up my pits and chest then I went for the face. After taking a deep breath I felt like I had been CS gassed! The minty fumes wafted up my nose and started to sting. Then my eyes recoiled in horror and wanted to shut. It was making my eyes water. Had I mistakenly picked up some sort of chemical weapon?
Now here's the big, foolish mistake I made. I washed downstairs shortly after applying it to my face. It is at this point the male readers will be either wincing in pain or contemplating going out to buy some depending on what floats your boat.
What started as a mild bit of heat soon became an inferno and my nether regions felt like someone had applied some deep heat rub to them. I was faced with two choices here, turn the shower on to cold and spray myself with icy water to cool the inferno or just to ride it out. I opted to ride it out, and thankfully the chilli-esque fury didn't last long although the thought of performing a dunk in the sink full of cold water did cross my mind.
I left the bathroom in a dishevelled state, half the man I was although I did have an all-over glow like the ready brek man. Some research pointed out that they also do some sort of capsicum based one that is even more firery...what kind of masochist would choose that?
I am hoping that I become de-sensitised to it as the ready brek buzz was quite nice, just not the blowtorch to the man bits!
Anyone else use this stuff?

but never ever used it on my face for the reasons you describe lol. it hurts my eyes enough just on the body.
