**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Paused the game, unpaused and automatically pressed esc then enter in a split second. I accidently quit the game.

Now that I think about it my oponents did that too, anybody else had this happen to them lol :p

Anybody else enjoying 4vs4 the most? They are so relaxing and I can do any weird strategy that I come up with during the loading screen :D .
 
...after watching that replay I realised I could have just sent those three zealots across and won that way. I didn't scout that time, I just had a feeling I was getting rushed and prepped for it really early on. :(
 
Hehehe, just won a TvT game..
Early(ish) put a tank and some marines outside his base to slow his expansion.

He somehow managed to break through and decided to stay to his half of the map.
Fine..
I had an expansion, which I then expanded a bit more, and eventually had 4 Factories constantly churning out Siege tanks, which unsurprisingly flattened him - he would just wipe out one wave of tanks only for me to realise a bigger wave had appeared at my gathering point :P

Uninstalled the game.

Its retardedly imbalanced for zerg players. I just had a 1v1 against a protoss player, built a total of 327 units, very nice army with a good mixture of units against a turtling protoss player and I got ELEVEN ******* kills with that amount of units in the entire game. How is that even possible? I don't want to play protoss or the retardedly easy terran in multiplayer and I've completed the single player, so whats left exactly for my £35?

**** all thats what.

I swear I'm being a **** but I can't find a link to a stream on TL web site. I can see all the individual streams but not one for the GLS -.-

Agree with this, I don't mean any offence but bronze/silver zerg are generally not that great. I played a zerg player the other day who was plat and literally I won it with a few units left. Was such a close game.

They are a great race just imo hard to play.

Id say that sending all your units head onto a protoss base was slightly suicidal.

Zerg vs Protoss is the most balanced matchup in the game at the moment. Im a Zerg player. Please don't complain. Its pretty obv. sending all your units into one place against a turtling opponant is going to get your units killed.

Tech to brood lords/corrupter/hydra and pick off important defensive units such as collosi, High Templars. If he sends air after you, use corruptors/Hydra, if he charges his defense at you, Broodlings provide a constant wall, hydras do the DPS. Hell if hes turtling, you should have taken the map, so even if he did kill you, You should have had another army ready as soon as yours died.

Hell if hes turtled, mix in some infestors so he cant move to micro your BL's
Nydus or two?
Abuse Zergs mobility aspect and don't expect to use 1a tactics and win. Zerg are the hardest race to master.

in all fairness all zerg players need to do is tech up to mass mutas and theyv instantly won against any race.

had some cracking games last night - think i have my early push nailed now against any race in 1v1 and 3v3's.
we beat some pretty hardcore plat players last night - who clearly dont understand effect unit composition and would rather try some mass cheese or gay proxy...again another sign that the leagues are ****ed.
