Just learn any/all of the following builds and you will win most of your pvps:

4 gate
Korean style 4 gate (in plat you will probably win 90% of your pvp games with this as long as your oponent doesnt zealot rush)
2-3 gate zealot rush
1 base collosus

PVP is all about one basing, generally if someone expands without a huge advantage they will lose to either a 4 gate or collosus timing attack.
 
Just had two matches with the same guy and won both PvT and ZvT, him being Terran and me playing random. He went MMM on the former and all-mech for the latter, and started with 3-4 very unsuccessful reapers each time. Needless to say, he wasn't too happy at the end of the second match. Love it! :D
 
If you can please watch the official GomTV stream guys just to increase the numbers (obviously if its capped or laggy watch the restream). Impressive game by TLO there.
 
They are today, too many jokes, too much mickey taking of the players, not enough talking about strat or what is going on in the game.

All above is fine for random streamers but they're actually getting paid and doing it every day, expect more.
 
meh I kind of like it, a bit of joking around works quite well i think, some casters take it far to seriously and it just gets tedious.

Day9 / HD are good examples of casters who are pretty fun to listen to.

Those last games by check were pretty impressive, although i think the toss wasn't that great!
 
How can you not like Tasteless and Artosis? They're a little bit biased sometimes but they're usually right in what they're saying. They're also hilarious. Tasteless hasn't casted in years, this is his first SC2 event after casting SC1 for years in Korea. He'll get better. He's definitely the best Starcraft caster imo, so funny at times and just good to listen to. I like Artosis too but don't agree with what he says a lot of the time. Day9 and Tasteless brother casting combo would be awesome though.
 
They are both really good solo casters but when together they're like school kids who distract each other in class and end up messing around too much instead of getting on with their work.
 
What tornament are people talking about? Watched a fair few tasteless and Artosis games (seperately) but not sure if there is some cool tornament that I dont know about.....linky please! :D

The GSL, dude. The biggest SC2 tournament so far. $80,000 first prize for the monthly tournament. $800,000 in total prizes for the whole series of them. :eek:

Next set of games (round of 64) is on monday. Check team liquid on monday 10-11am-ish for streams and the live report thread in the SC2 tourneys section.
 
Where can I find some replays of these matches? I'm looking on youtube and can only find Korean (I assume) commentary :/
