At ~15 minutes you should have 3 bases,constantly make workers,production buildings,upgrades etc.If you have like 1k minerals,throw down 4 rax/gateways,pump out units,expand more,attack,upgrade and expand again :P.The more bases you have,the more production structures you can support.Keep your money low!!

I would love to have some ladder sessions but the damn exams won't let me!And I really need to work on my TvP,been losing a lot lately.2 weeks and then hardcore laddering!

I actually got into the original SC by playing C&C, on RA2 I was chatting to a guy called Mindwar1 back in the day, one of the best UK players and he was telling me how he was leaving to play SC where all the pros are going, so I was like ok I need to check this out. Never looked back since :P
 
do any noobies wanna get together and play some games? i mean like really noobie so i might actually enjoy a few games and not get annihilated.

losing lots of my ZvP to Mass void ray with 3 air attack : /

started baneling busting natural to slow them down but still comes down if i can get up my 3rd to get enough gas for hydra or corruptor or mix of the 2.

Im still in bronze but been playing vs some gold/silver players on ladder which might indicate i'll get promoted soon.

After initial 5 placement games i was palced in gold aswell, then long losing streak hapenned and i was bottom of my bronze league, now ranked 8ish :D

Playing mix of Spanishwa / mass crackling, zergling do pretty good vs protoss until they get colossus// loads of forcefields :P

I'll admit i have been erm.. 6 pooling few games cheesy hehe, normally in the game after i get cannon rushed or something :P

Been watching some live feeds from pro's.. low graphics quality settings look so erm.. weird :P

The thing with protoss air is it's one of those things that can be read without ever seeing it. When a protoss is on one base they have only a few options, namely:

- Four gate
- Stargate
- DTs

So if a four gate doesn't land, and the protoss only has one base, then DTs or air are the only options available. If that happens I usually deal with both by a single spore crawler in each mineral line so both detection and anti-air are covered. This, combined with the initial 3/4 queens you should have, should be enough to deal with any air rushes you encounter :) (and you can build additional queens as required).

edit: oh total fail on my part, I read void ray and assumed rush :p. At bronze level when dealing with someone massing units you should just focus on outmacroing them. Having more hatches, drones and don't get supply blocked and you can stop any combination of units.

About to add you, just completed my placement matches and was put into Silver as well. Division corruptor yankee.

I got promoted from Bronze so not new in the total sense, but we can try some games still :) be good to play someone regular instead of randoms cheesing all the time :D
 
I just placed in silver 1v1 also after winning my placement match.

I managed to lose my placement match in 3v3 however, and got placed in platinum... very strange!
