How every foreigner is feeling after Naniwa beating Nestea

Those 9 games of the global invitational to start off the weekend were absolutely amazing.

Probably the best ZvZ to date, an amazing PvT and then an incredible PvZ. Pretty much every base covered there, fantastic.

I don't think she was unhappy, she just got to play Losira - a Code S player - with Tastosis casting the game. That's a dream for most aspirational SC2 players, one that most wont achieve.

Think she's perfectly happy with the situation, just wishes she played better I expect.

I want to see the Idra vs. Nestea games again.

That drone pull was excellent, among other things.

MLG has the entire run of last night up so you can play it back as live, awesome.. going to re watch those three games.

I played my first proper game of SC2 in a while and wasn't expecting to do fantastically, but I had done my placement game back on the 1st and was moved from Bronze to Silver, so I'm not exactly a great player. PvP on Metalopolis, I saw that he was 4gating and paniced as I don't 4gate, I go for a tech play instead, so I quickly got out loads of sentries instead of going straight for my tech play, and managed to keep my ramp blocked off with a forcefield and picked off tons of his units each time he tried to push in. After a few tries, he seemed to give up, so I assumed he was getting an observer up to see up to my high ground, so got one of my own and kept building stalkers, sure enough in came an observer, forcefield up, killed the obs and a couple more of his stalkers.
Back at the start of the game, I'd kept my scouting probe hidden in his base behind the fog, so stuck down a pylon and went for DTs, built a couple and send them into both bases mineral lines and killed a ton of probes before he could finally deal with them.

Eventually I just built a ton of stalkers and colossi and kept denying him expansions, engaging his armies before running away as his reinforcements arrived, and eventually won. It wasn't a smooth game by any means but if felt great, especially since I was playing so poorly!

I don't mind adverts in streams normally, but I'm seriously tempted to become an MLG gold member just so I don't have to keep watching those Jameson and MLG gold members adverts again and again. :p

Some epic games, but the Warp Prism with Four Sentries into the main, Forcefield ramp and warp in units endlessly strategy is ridiculously strong. It's won about 7 games on the trot for the Protoss guys and I'm not seeing how a Zerg is going to be able to deal with it.

That many Sentries in the main means the ramp is walled off endlessly, the only units you can produce are off the main hatches larvae, so you're limited to around five or six units for the duration of the combat in a typical situation. The Protoss player can continually warp in more and more units and you literally have no way to protect any of your tech structures.

If you do happen to store more units inside your base than outside, then can just do the reverse and wall off the ramp so you can't get out as every expansion gets wiped out and denied.

I think Forcefields need to be made killable, that way more interesting dynamics are opened up in the game overall and this tactic isn't quite so clean cut.

I'd also quite like to see the Nydus worm made into something that's actually worth using.
